The joint Annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge and Provincial Grand Chapter took place at Barry Memo Hall on Saturday, June 24th, 2023. At 10:30am, E.Comp. Timothy Clark, the ProvGDC, called the Companions to order to welcome and receive rulers, dignitaries, and distinguished companions into Provincial Grand Chapter, greeted by enthusiastic applause from everyone present.
The Companions were then assembled to receive the M.E. Grand Superintendent and his Principals, accompanied by the Provincial team. The M.E. Grand Superintendent, D. Gerald Rowbottom, along with E.Comp. Martyn Wake and E.Comp. Lyndon Howells, the 1st and 2nd Principals respectively, officially commenced the proceedings of Provincial Grand Chapter.
After extending a warm welcome to rulers, dignitaries, distinguished guests, and heads of orders, the GSupt promptly proceeded with the investiture of companions who were being re-appointed, appointed, or promoted in Provincial Grand Chapter.
Deputy Grand Superintendent, R. Michael Coombes, expressed a heartfelt vote of thanks to the Grand Superintendent, which was met with spontaneous applause from the entire Memorial Hall, conveying warmth and appreciation.
The Grand Superintendent and his Royal Arch executive were delighted to witness the presence of numerous Companions from all parts of the Province.
