On Tuesday, September 26th, 2023, Chapter of Progress No. 7928 held their election night. The evening was marked as members gathered to witness a significant milestone in the Masonic journey of E.Comp. D. Leslie W Griffith.
The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, D. Gerald Rowbottom, graced the occasion with his presence, where he had the honour of presenting E.Comp. Leslie with a prestigious 40-year certificate. E.Comp. Leslie’s dedication to the Chapter spanned over two decades, a testament to his unwavering commitment.
E.Comp. Leslie’s Masonic journey began in 1983 when he was exalted in Virtue and Hope Chapter No. 237, eventually becoming a valued member of Chapter of Progress in 2001. In a gesture of appreciation, the Chapter extended Honorary Membership to the M.E. GSupt, which he graciously accepted.
E.Comp. Warren M. C. Jones was elected as 1st Principal, and the Installation Convocation to formally install E.Comp. Jones will take place in February 2024, marking another significant chapter in the history of Chapter of Progress No. 7928.
