Dear Brother / Companion,
Once again The Learning and Development Team are delighted to host a training morning for another major office within our Lodge and Chapter, that is the Almoner. This follows on from previous events for the Secretary and Treasurer which were very popular well received. Both Craft and Chapter Almoners are encouraged to attend but the event is open to all; as is often said ‘we are all Almoners’, so if you care please come along. The seminar will again be held at Bridgend Masonic Hall on the morning of Saturday 20th of April, 2024.
The Provincial Almoners and their Provincial Team will facilitate the presentation and be available to answer your questions. The main themes to be discussed include
- An overview of how things work
- Masonic Charities
- Information Security
- Challenges, Successes and Benefits
- Application Process
- Links to other funds
The presentation will commence at 9.30am, tea and coffee will be served mid-morning and the session will conclude at approximately 12.30pm. There will be a £2.00 charge for refreshments, payable on the day.
To register your intention to attend please complete the short registration form here.
We look forward to seeing you on the day.
