Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305 Installation

On Friday, the 18th of October, the Lodge of Benevolence No. 7305 held its annual installation ceremony at the Bridgend Masonic Hall, with over 100 brethren in attendance. The highlight of the day was the installation of W.Bro. Paul Raymond Marshall, OBE, PAProvGM, as the new Worshipful Master.

W.Bro. John Child had the honour of presenting his long-standing friend, Worshipful Master elect, W.Bro. Paul Marshall, for the benefit of installation by the Installing Master, W.Bro. Bryan Tansley.

The ceremony was a captivating and moving event, with the newly installed Worshipful Master taking the Chair of King Solomon in front of a full temple. W.Bro. Paul Marshall’s dedication to Freemasonry within the Province of South Wales was clearly reflected in the admiration and respect shown by the brethren in attendance.

Adding to the significance of the day was the presence of R.W.Bro. Gareth Jones, OBE, PAGM, 3rd Grand Principal, and Past Provincial Grand Master, who is also a Lodge member and Past Master of the Lodge of Benevolence. His attendance brought additional prestige to the occasion.

Following the ceremony, the brethren enjoyed a superb meal provided by the catering team at Bridgend Masonic Hall, with both the food and service receiving high praise. The day was one of celebration leaving all attendees with fond memories of this wonderful occasion.
