Worshipful Brother Clifford’s Masonic journey began on the 22nd of February 1975 when he was initiated into Nottage Lodge No. 8452, Porthcawl. Demonstrating dedication and commitment, he progressed through the various offices within the Lodge before being installed as Worshipful Master on the 29th of November 1986, a role he would again assume in 2022.
His devotion to the core values of Freemasonry extended beyond the Master’s Chair, particularly in his role as Charity Steward, which he held for a decade from 2005 to 2015. Under his leadership, the Lodge achieved the prestigious Gold Award for the 2021 Festival, a testament to his unwavering efforts in charitable work.
In October 2009, W.Bro. Clifford becoming a subscribing member of Hendre Lodge No. 3250. His talents and dedication did not go unrecognised, as he received several distinguished Provincial appointments and promotions. In June 2004, he was promoted to Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer, followed by Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in 2014. His commitment and service were ultimately honoured in June 2023 when he attained the highest Provincial rank, Provincial Senior Grand Warden.
W.Bro. Clifford’s Masonic journey is a shining example to us all, his service, leadership, commitment and dedication over the past fifty years is unwavering.
