The Masonic Year Book for South Wales has a vacancy for a
Photographic Sub-editor
The applicant would have to have Adobe® Photoshop® software and be highly competent with it’s use.
The position would mean co-ordinating all photographs for the Year Book in conjunction with the Provincial Photographer, formatting them to agreed sizes and supplying on CD for the Editor to place in the Book. It would probably suit a retired and self-motivated Mason.
Most of this work is undertaken prior to the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting in the middle of June.
Expressions of interest should be addressed to the Year Book Editor;
W.Bro. Allan J. Miles, email: yb.prov.ed@nullhotmail.co.uk
“The Provincial Year Book is a major contributor to the information service provided to members of our Province. At present, we are relying on a non-mason to format the photographs taken by Anthony Howell and although he will continue to help the Editor, it makes sense to bring it in house to make it more efficient. For your diary, there will be 2 x photographic sessions arranged at the Cardiff Masonic Hall on the evenings of 16th and 18th June 2015, to photograph the Active appointments for the 2015 Year Book.
If you feel that you have the interest and competence to offer a little of your time and skills in this project and wish to join a Team of dedicated volunteers, please let me know. This year is an especial edition. It is the 100th edition of the Year Book and is an interesting, rewarding and worthwhile project.
I look forward to hearing form you with expressions of interest.”
