Provincial Grand Lodge 2015 Summons

Dear Sir and Brother,

By command of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, I hereby give you notice that the next Annual Meeting of this Provincial Grand Lodge will be held at the Memorial Hall, Gladstone Road, Barry, CF62 8NA, on Monday the 29th day of June 2015 at 2.30 pm.

All present and past Provincial Grand Officers and Masters and Wardens of all Lodges in the Province, are summoned to attend.

Master Masons who are subscribing members of a Lodge in the Province are invited to be present.

The business to be transacted at the Meeting is set out on the Agenda below.

Agenda

  1. To Open Provincial Grand Lodge at 2.30 pm.
  2. To confirm the Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge, held at Barry on the 30th June 2014.
  3. To call the Roll of Lodges.
  4. To receive the audited accounts of the Provincial Grand Treasurer and, if approved, adopt same.

  5. To receive the Report of the Provincial Grand Lodge Committee.

  6. To receive the report of the Provincial Grand Almoner and, if approved, adopt same.

  7. To elect a Provincial Grand Treasurer for the ensuing year.
  8. To elect an Auditor in accordance with Rule 85, Book of Constitutions.
  9. To elect seven Brethren to serve on the General Purposes Committee of the Province; in addition the Deputy Provincial Grand Master to nominate three Grand Officers to serve.
  10. To make a collection for Charitable purposes.
  11. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will Reappoint V.W. Bro. H. E. R. Woodward, PGSwdB, as Deputy Provincial Grand Master.
  12. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will Reappoint W. Bro. Rev. A. E. J. Swinford, PSGD, W. Bro. W. E. Jenkins, PSGD, W. Bro. R.F. Richmond, PSGD as Assistant Provincial Grand Masters.
  13. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will Invest W.Bro. P. R. Marshall, FCA, OBE, PSGD with a Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master’s collarette.
  14. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will Install, Obligate and Invest W.Bro. A. Gardener, PAGSuptWks as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
  15. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will Appoint and Invest the Provincial Grand Officers.
  16. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will present the Provincial Travelling Gavel for 2014–15.
  17. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master will address Provincial Grand Lodge.
  18. To transact any other business that may arise for the good of the Order in general, or of this Provincial Grand Lodge in particular.
  19. To Close Provincial Grand Lodge.
