At a Special General Meeting of the Masonic Benevolent Fund of South Wales, held on 12th December 2016 at Bridgend Masonic Hall, it was resolved that a sum not exceeding £300,000 be subscribed to the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI) to be used for the purposes of the construction of a dedicated Dementia/Alzheimer’s support unit and day room at the Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court Masonic Home at Porthcawl.
