Enthusiastic and comprehensive plans for the foundation of a new Lodge, which will meet four times a year at Penarth, are progressing well despite the uncertainty created by this awful pandemic. The proposed St John of Jerusalem Lodge will demonstrate a close affinity to the purposes, principles and the outstanding work of the Order of St John with many of the founding Brethren belonging to both Orders.
Exciting and rare opportunities exist for interested Brethren to become petitioners and ultimately founders of the new Lodge, and you are encouraged without delay, and no later than Monday 30th November 2020, to contact W.Bro. Dr Akram Baig on drbaig@nullsky.com or W.Bro. John Lloyd on jtl2295@nullsky.com. They will be delighted to give you advice and guidance on becoming a petitioner and achieving this inspiring ambition.
Much remains to be done to realise the creation of St John Of Jerusalem and it is important that everyone remains fully informed of key stages in development. To this end, updates will be posted on social media platforms at key times in the months ahead.
During these difficult times, as always, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me should you require any advice or assistance.
Yours sincerely and fraternally,
W.Bro./E.Comp. Philip Bevan, Provincial Grand Almoner
