Two years longer than expected owing to the pandemic and various setbacks, the centenary celebrations were finally held at North Glamorgan Lodge, No. 4055. Over 70 Brethren joined the Worshipful Master and members of North Glamorgan Lodge, who gathered to celebrate this historic milestone in the Lodge’s history.
The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro. D. Gerald Rowbottom was in attendance, accompanied by his Provincial team along with both current and past Executive of the Province. W.Bro. Richard L. Thomas, the Lodge ADC and Charity Steward, delivered a most fascinating and intriguing history of North Glamorgan Lodge. The Provincial Deputy Grand Chaplain, W.Bro. Roger Hughes, delivered a passionate, humorous and delightful oration regarding his connections to the Lodge over the many years. To conclude, The Provincial Grand Secretary, W.Bro. Ben Gait read out the Centenary Warrant which was then presented to the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Marc Lewis, APGM, by the R.W. Provincial Grand Master. The festive board was a wonderful occasion, delicious food and great company.
