11th May 2017
Dear Brethren,
CHURCH SERVICE LLANDAFF 20th MAY 2017
With just over a week until this special occasion and I have been asked to clarify certain arrangements.
- ALL members of the Craft will be expected to be dressed in FULL DRESS regalia. This is either dark suit etc. with a Provincial tie or Morning suit with striped trousers and a Provincial tie – NO GLOVES
- NO-ONE should be in a long tail coat. Short black jacket is the order of the day. (N B Grand Officers take note!)
- Jewels especially Royal Arch and Tercentenary and 21 Festival jewels should be worn.
- Parking is limited in Llandaff but we have arranged for members to park in the Metropolitan University on Western Avenue. There are approximately 80 spaces there but you MUST have 50 pence in change for “Pay and Display”. You will then approach the Cathedral via the path by the side of Llandaff Rugby Club. Members in the procession will have additional parking arranged.
- There are no facilities for changing and therefore DO NOT bring a case. Your regalia should be in a carrier bag.
- If you have not booked for the buffet then you can try with alangardener@nullsky.com and maybe it is not too late!
- If you have not been told you are not in the procession!
- Please ensure that you and anyone accompanying you have taken their seat(s) by 10.30 am.
I look forward to seeing you all on the day
Sincerely and fraternally,
Peter Jones
Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies
