Dr Hall Chapter No. 3161 was honoured to receive the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent E.Comp. D. Gerald Rowbottom at their annual Installation Convocation at Swansea Masonic Hall on Saturday 27th of January. The Grand Superintendent was accompanied by The Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp. Michael Coombes and the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal E.Comp. Lyndon Howells and supported by a large Provincial Escort. They witnessed a warm and sincere ceremony where E.Comp. Simon Robins installed as 1st Principal and E.Comp. Richard Roberts installed as 3rd Principal.
Particular praise and thanks must be given to E.Comp Alun Jones and E.Comp. Paul Roberts who both acted as Installing Principals at very short notice and assisted in making the ceremony a great success and a memorable occasion for the newly installed Principals.
The members of the Chapter created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the festive board which saw the new 1st Principal E. Comp. Simon Robins make a significant donation from the Chapter to the Grand Superintendent’s Discretionary Fund. A great night was had by all.
