Friendship & Justice Lodge charity event supports Guide Dogs with a new puppy named “Mason”

At a recent charity event organised by the Brethren of Friendship & Justice Lodge No. 5830, an incredible £2,500 was raised. This remarkable fundraising effort has enabled the Lodge to support Guide Dogs, one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities, by naming a puppy.

Guide Dogs plays a vital role in helping people with sight loss live the life they choose. Through the dedication of their expert staff, volunteers, and their life-changing guide dogs, they provide individuals with confidence, independence, and companionship. Guide Dogs rely heavily on generous donations and the hard work of their volunteers to continue their life-changing work.

Thanks to the generosity of the Brethren, the Lodge is thrilled to introduce their sponsored puppy, “Mason,” who has now officially joined the Guide Dogs family. Little Mason has already had his first ‘pawtrait’ taken, and we’re sure you’ll agree—he’s absolutely adorable! Mason is about to embark on the big adventure of learning the essential skills that will one day help him transform the life of someone living with sight loss.

Friendship & Justice Lodge is pleased to report that Mason is settling in wonderfully with his Puppy Raiser. In about three months, they will receive Mason’s first ‘pupdate’ to see what exciting milestones he’s reached.

While Mason’s future as a guide dog is yet to be determined, one thing is clear: with the help and support from the Brethren of Friendship & Justice Lodge, Mason is already making a difference in the lives of those with sight loss.
