Inaugural Tercentenary Celebration kicked off in style at Bridgend Masonic Hall on Friday 15th March, 2024 with the PGM’s Business Lunch. This event marks the beginning of celebratory events across the Province leading to our Tercentenary in 2027.
Former Wales international rugby player, Rupert Moon, entertained over 100 attendees with captivating tales from his illustrious career spanning two decades, including 24 caps for Wales.
The event was supported with the presence of The Provincial Grand Master and members of the Joint Executive. Special thanks to W.Bro. Gavin Davies, W.Bro. Richard Lee Thomas, and Bro. Tristan Evans for their entertaining musical performances throughout the afternoon.
Through generous contributions, the auction and raffle surpassed £5000, with more donations expected to be added.
The Provincial Grand Master expressed his thanks and gratitude to all those who donated prizes, with a special mention to the Master of Ceremonies, W. Bro. Philip Saunders for his sterling work. The success of the event would not have been possible without the efforts of the Tercentenary Chairman, W.Bro. Dr. Akram Baig, APGM, and his events team, whose meticulous organisation ensured a memorable experience for all in attendance.
