Monday, 24th February 2025 at Cardiff Masonic Hall
Llangattock and Howardian Lodge No. 2547 invites you to a special evening at Cardiff Masonic Hall, marking a major and significant milestone in the Lodge’s rejuvenation as a dedicated Scout Lodge.
The evening will begin with the Lodge being opened at 17:30 for essential business, including the election of the Master for the ensuing year. Following the closing of Lodge proceedings, family, friends, and invited Scouting guests including representatives of the Baden-Powell family and the Lead Volunteer for Scouting in Wales, will be welcomed into the Temple for a special presentation by W.Bro. Tony Harvey PJGD, the 2012 Prestonian Lecturer, renowned Freemason, and author. His lecture, titled “Scouting and Freemasonry: Two Parallel Organisations?”, will explore the historical and philosophical connections between these two great institutions.
There will be an opportunity for a Q&A session, as well as the chance to purchase related merchandise, including Tony’s book on the evening’s subject.
Following the lecture, attendees are invited to join us for the Festive Board, where W.Bro. Tony Harvey will also be dining with us. The cost of the meal, including wine, is £29.00
