The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over South Wales will host two Luncheons in honour of those Brethren and Companions who have been Appointed to and Promoted in Grand Rank.
The Craft Luncheon will take place at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, 92 Southampton Row, WC1B 4BH prior to the Meeting of Grand Lodge on Wednesday 27th April 2022. Cocktails at 12:15 p.m. for 12:45 p.m. The Royal Arch Luncheon will take place at Mark Masons’ Hall, 86 St James’s Street, SW1A 1PL subsequent to the meeting of Supreme Grand Chapter on Thursday 28th April 2022. Luncheon will be served at 1:30 p.m.
Brethren from this Province proposing to join the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent will be most welcome to do so, at a fee of £40.00 per luncheon. Names must be submitted to the Provincial Office, utilising the enclosed booking form, no later than the 8th April 2022. Cheques will be refunded to those who fail to obtain admission tickets to the Craft Investiture, provided this Office is informed no later than the said date.
A limited number of bedrooms have been made available at the Grange Hotels, Russell Square, for the nights of the 26th and 27th April 2022 and any bookings should be negotiated by guests via email at whitehall.reservations@nullgrangehotels.com or clarendon.reservations@nullgrangehotels.com or by telephoning the Hotel direct on 0207 580 2224. Please take note that a secured link will be sent to individual guests in order to enter card details to secure the booking. Once confirmed, guests may cancel the booking 7 days prior to arrival. Transportation
For the last twenty years a luxury coach has been organised, from Swansea, for Brethren wishing to attend the meeting of Grand Lodge. This has always been an excellent trip, with hot bacon rolls and coffee to start the morning, quizzes with prizes donated by Paul Clement, Peter Williams and Phil Saunders, as well as a bar with Steward service on the return journey. The bus trip enhances the enjoyment of the London visit.
W.Bro. Julian Rees is organising the coach with pricing to include the luncheons, overnight hotel stay, as well as the bar on the way home. The coach will leave at 06:00 am from the Swansea Masonic Hall and pick up along the way at various M4 junctions.
