As you are no doubt aware, to celebrate the Tercentenary of Grand Lodge in 2017 there are a number of major events currently being planned by UGLE. One of these is The Grand Ball, which will take place on 30 September 2017 in Grand Lodge itself. The Grand Ball Committee have begun engaging in a mass communication campaign over the summer and I have attached a link below to the FMT website which contains some salient details. There is also a website (www.thegrandball.uk) to encourage those keen to attend to sign-up, as more information will be coming out in the next couple of months and the mailing list is the best way to stay in touch.
Tickets will be £160/person and with several thousand on our mailing lists and with interest already coming from up and down the country as well as overseas, we hope to sell-out quickly. In the spirit of fairness tickets will be first-come, first-served! Tickets go on sale at 9am on 30 September 2016 – with a deal where you can get 12 tickets for the price of 11, so no excuse not to get a group together from each Lodge / Chapter!
