Following a meeting of the Joint Executive on Wednesday December 7th at Cardiff, The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master for and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over the Province of South Wales announced imminent changes to the Executive.
In the Royal Arch, the Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp. C. Hugh Thomas, OStJ, PGSwdB, has expressed his desire to retire in the new year. He will be replaced by E.Comp. R. Michael Coombes, PGStB, Past 3rd Provincial Grand Principal. As 2nd Provincial Grand Principal the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent will appoint E.Comp. Martyn P. Wake, PGStB, 3rd Provincial Grand Principal; and E.Comp. J. Lyndon Howells, PGStB, Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals will be appointed as 3rd Provincial Grand Principal. E.Comp. Simon K.S. Daniel, PGStB will remain as an Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals, and will be joined in that capacity by E.Comp. Philip Bevan, PPrGSN, Provincial Grand Almoner. The investiture of these Companions will take place at the Lord Swansea Chapter No. 8364 on Friday, 10 February 2023.
In the Craft, W.Bro. Marc Lewis, PSGD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master will complete his last duty at the Loyal Cambrian Lodge No. 110 on Saturday, 14 January 2023. Under the authority of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master he has been afforded the great privilege of a full Provincial Escort. His successor will be W.Bro. Dr. Akram Baig, CStJ, PJGD. His investiture will take place at the election meeting of the Hendre Lodge No. 3250 on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
