With dignitaries in attendance, Welsh Rugby Clubs Lodge No. 9986 celebrated a memorable occasion on Friday, March 8th, 2024, Bro. Dominic Busuttil and Bro Neil John Darne were raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. The Lodge was delighted to welcome three esteemed Brethren, that being; The Provincial Grand Master, R.WBro. D. Gerald Rowbottom (Honorary Member), Grand Secretary, V.WBro. Adrian R.T Marsh, and Welsh Rugby Clubs Lodge member, AProvGM, W.Bro. Robert G Payne. Their presence added much delight to all present.
After the ceremony and during the festive board it was announced that the Lodge pledged a substantial £4,000 donation to Welsh grassroots mini rugby. This act underscores the Lodge’s dedication to fostering rugby’s development at the grassroots in Wales, with a particular focus on advancing Freemasonry within the local community.
