Welsh Rugby Clubs Lodge No. 9986 supports Pentyrch RFC Minis and Juniors

Welsh Rugby Clubs Lodge No. 9986 has generously donated £1,000 to Pentyrch RFC Mini and Juniors, helping to fund much-needed training equipment. The donation was made following Pentyrch’s home fixture against Barry RFC Mini and Juniors.

With the motto “Passing It Forward,” WRCL is made up of former players and supporters of the game, who are passionate about giving back to grassroots rugby in Wales. The members actively raise funds through events such as dinners, raffles, and auctions to support Mini and Junior rugby clubs across the country.

Pictured are WRCL Secretary Paul Haley alongside Pentyrch RFC’s under-10 players and coaches. Paul commented, “All our members know how valuable rugby is for young people — the skills, the fun, and the friendships forged through this great sport. We wish Pentyrch RFC every success as they continue to help young players develop and enjoy the game we all love.”

Mark Richards of Pentyrch RFC added, “Thank you for your generous donation. It will significantly benefit the club and play a vital role in the children’s development.”
